Replacing the P2 Panel

The P2 panel is designed to have a run time of 10 years. During this period, no replacement should be necessary. If the P2 panel needs to be replaced, Cognitec must authorize the return shipment of the defective panel by issuing an RMA number. Cognitec repairs or replaces the P2 panel and sends back a P2 panel.

Contact the Cognitec support () to request the service, repair, or replacement of a P2 panel.

  1. To gather all details about the defect generate an up-to-date system report and describe your last actions with FaceVACS-Entry. If possible, record a video showing the malfunction and send it to Cognitec.

  2. Contact the Cognitec support () and have the system report and the description of your last actions with FaceVACS-Entry at hand.

  3. Cognitec decides on further actions, for example, authorizes shipment of the P2 panel to Cognitec.
