Changing the Password

Each P2 panel is delivered with the same default password to log in to the web interface. For security reasons, Cognitec recommends that you change the password immediately after the first login.

Procedure

Prerequisites:

  • You are logged in to the web interface of the P2 panel.

  1. In the web interface, navigate to Admin.

  2. Enter the current password and the new password.

  3. Click Apply Change to set the new password.

    The new password is effective immediately. You do not have to reboot the P2 panel after changing the password.
