The FaceVACS-Entry software monitors parameters during operation and logs them in the system report which is available via the System Integrator interface, for example, measurement of homing position of the mobile unit. Permanent system diagnosis indicates long-term and abrupt changes in the system behavior. The monitoring interface of FaceVACS-Entry must be implemented into the workflow, for example, to trigger an alarm when the homing position is not reached.
If airport personnel detects a malfunction, trained technicians will execute prescribed diagnosis steps.
Trained personnel will replace defective units at the airport with locally stored replacement units. For defective units an RMA number is requested from Cognitec and the unit is sent to Cognitec under this RMA number in the original transport box.
During the planned lifetime of 7 years the P2 panel should not need to be replaced.
To maintain the P2 panel, Cognitec suggests that you perform the following maintenance tasks at the following intervals:
