Mounting the P2 Panel

The P2 panel model is designed to be mounted to a supporting structure, for example, a border control booth. The P2 provides four Mounting Positions that allow the attachment of VESA plates. Mounts are not included in delivery, however Cognitec may provide VESA mounts on a project specific base. At least two (P2-100) / three (P2-200) VESA Mounting Positions must be used to mount the panel securely. Use screws of appropriate dimensions to mount the VESA plates to the P2 Panel. Screws must not penetrate the weld nuts on the panel housing by more than 4mm. Cognitec recommends using DIN/ISO7380 A2 M4x6 TX flange screws to attach VESA plates to the panel.

Risk of injury due to heavy objects falling

  • Use of inapropriate screws to attach VESA plates to the P2 panel may cause the panel to drop without warning.

  • Use screws provided by Cognitec to attach VESA plates.

  • Use screws of the correct specification, if no screws are provided by Cognitec. Cognitec recommends using DIN/ISO7380 A2 M4x6 TX flange.

  • Use four screws for each VESA Plate.

  • Use at least two VESA Plates to mount a panel.

  • Use screws provided by Cognitec to attach VESA plates.

  • Use screws of the correct specification, if no screws are provided by Cognitec. Cognitec recommends using DIN/ISO7380 A2 M4x6 TX flange.

  • Screws must not penetrate more than 4mm in to the weld nuts of the panel housing.

  • Use of inapropriate screws may cause damage to the panel chasis, the mounting nuts or cause the panel to drop suddenly.

  • Use four screws for each VESA Plate.

  • Use at least two VESA Plates to mount a panel.
