Conventions and Symbols Used in this Manual

This manual uses certain typographical conventions:

  • [THISSTYLE] is used for placeholders, for example, of configuration items.

  • This style is used for text that you must enter.

Warnings and safety notes in this manual are marked with the following symbols and signal words that indicate the level of danger:

  • [Warning]

    Indicates a potentially hazardous situation. If the hazardous situation is not avoided, it can result in serious injury or death.

  • [Caution]

    Indicates a potentially hazardous situation. If the hazardous situation is not avoided, it can result in minor or moderate injury.

  • [Important]

    Provides important information to avoid mistakes or data loss.

  • [Note]

    Indicates a property-damage-only hazard, meaning no personal injury is possible.

Tips in this manual are marked with the following symbol and signal word:

    Provides additional information and hints.
