P2 Panel Initialization Does Not Finish

The following mechanical parts are checked during initialization:

  • camera

  • height controller

  • home switch

  • LED controller

The initialization stops if a problem with a mechanical part occurs. The panel display shows an error message. The P2 panel changes to OutOfOrder state and attempts to reinitialize every 10 seconds.

The following procedure may only be performed by authorized and trained maintenance personnel.

Removing Mechanical Obstructions

  1. Switch off the P2 panel.

  2. Visually inspect the P2 panel for foreign matter that may block mechanical parts.

  3. Detach the glass cover and remove foreign matter carefully.

    You may have to or dismount the P2 panel in order to remove foreign matter.

  4. Ensure that the P2 panel has been switched off for at least 3 seconds.

  5. Reboot the P2 panel.

  6. Perform further diagnosis with an up-to-date system report and the Windows Event Viewer of the gate computer.
